I created a magazine cover in the style of 'Empire' using Adobe Fireworks. To ensure it was realistic I made sure I included the following conventions: Empire title, price and date, main image, cover lines, colours from the main image etc.
I had to use a number of different layers to create an effective magazine cover as I wanted the girl in front of the Empire masthead but the background behind it. This took a lot of time and effort as well as trial and error but I am very pleased with how it finally turned out.
Convincing and effective with real attention to detail and packed with appropriate conventions. Great work.
